Under Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools -> Click on 'More' and select 'Repair' option. This will open the Installer, and you should see two products in the Installed section - Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools and Microsoft Visual Studio. Right Click on this line and click 'Change'. ![]() Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Featuresįind Microsoft Visual Studio Installer in the list of programs installed on your PC/Laptop. I followed the steps below which resolved my issue and Visual Studio recognised the Solution and SSIS Projects. I am using Visual Studio Community 2017 with SSDT for Visual Studio 15.6.0. I had the same issue on two separate occasions.
